Ira Mitchell is a Queenstown-born artist, trained teacher, and BFA graduate who serves as an artist-educator for New York’s GOLDEN Artist Colors. Her role takes her abroad annually for training and exhibitions, though she remains a nomad at heart, frequently relocating to capture the landscapes that spark her creativity. Drawing inspiration from iconic figures like Rita Angus and Dame Robyn White, Ira’s work reflects a deep connection to the environments she inhabits.
